Due to health concerns, lack of daycare and the stress of maintaining an essential service, we are experiencing staffing shortages. There will now be reduced hours. We will need to close earlier on certain days. We will try to keep an updated schedule online but it may change on short notice:

July 14: Open 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Please call during office hours for more information on a specific date.
Also, please note that there will be NO WALK-INS. All visits will REQUIRE AN APPOINTMENT. We are short staffed and already stretched thin with current case load.
Please call or email us for availability.
Unfortunately, we will no longer be accepting new clients. We are currently at capacity and need to make sure we can accommodate our current patients. We will reevaluate our situation monthly but we would encourage new clients to seek a veterinary care team who can routinely accommodate them.
Thank you for your understanding as we all try to navigate these challenging times.
Current Physical Distancing Protocol
BC Animal Hospital will now be enforcing strict physical distancing policy. We will no longer be allowing clients to enter the building. Please call us when you arrive and our staff will come to bring the patient inside. We will then call you and have the appointment over the phone while we examine the patients inside. We will then go over our findings and treatment options on the phone.
We realize this new policy may seem extreme. However, we are facing an unprecedented threat and we must all do our parts. We want to be able to maintain service as long as possible. We see many patients in a day and we cannot guarantee everyone is following the recommendations. Unfortunately, if any one of us start showing any symptoms of illness and must self-isolate, we will no longer be able to remain open to serve you. These measures are to protect the staff, their families and you and your families during this uncertain time.
Additionally, we encourage everyone to stay home if possible as recommended by the health authorities. Please try to postpone any non-urgent appointments and surgeries. We may also have staffing shortages due to day care closures and may not be able to accommodate all appointments.
